I have just recently attended the annual Business Mums conference where I met some amazing people who totally inspired me. It was brilliant to talk to other WAHMs (work at home mums) and to hear of their journey so far with their businesses.
I learnt some really useful things and one was to create a video clip on Animoto which was easy to do and so much fun!
Here is what I've done and I've posted it on You Tube.
I am planning to do a video clip of the kids for my family in England as part of their Christmas pressies. Animoto is really fun and easy to use - upload your pics, pick your music from a list and press a button. That's it! Have a go at it and let me know how you get on!

6 Things Meme - I've been tagged!
I've been meaning to get back here to blog, but I've had such a crazy couple of months with travelling to the UK, visitors from the UK, work and family ... so updating my blog was still on my "to do" list. But I've recently been tagged by a dear friend, Planning Queen for the 6 Things Meme and thought it was time I just get on with it ... so thank you PQ for giving me an incentive to get back to it!
The rules for 6 Things Meme - I have to answer 6 questions about myself. At the end of the post, I then tag 6 people and post their names, then go to their blogs and leave them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read my blog. Then, I must let the person who tagged me know when I’ve posted my answers.
Here goes something ...
6 Places I have lived
1) Malaysia - I was born there and lived there until I was 6. I remember quite a few interesting early memories about our life there.
2) East Doncaster,Melbourne, Australia - Mum and Dad moved our family to Australia. We had no family, a few friends but we started a life here. I will always be grateful to my parents for making this amazing decision.
3) Carlton North, Melbourne - My family moved here after the burbs. I loved it here! Close to the hustle and bustle of the city - cafes, clubs, shopping ... what girl wouldn't?!
4) Birmingham, England - This was my first move out of home after meeting my then boyfriend (now hubby) for only 4 months!
5) Astwood Bank, England - We moved to a cute little village about 20 mins south of Birmingham.
6) Surrey Hills, Melbourne - Back home again in Oz, now with my own family - hubby and two boys!
What I was doing 10 years ago
I had just come back from a holiday in Hawaii ... had a brilliant holiday and was feeling the "holiday blues". Funnily enough, its 10 years and a few days to the day that I met my hubby. Who would have thought - happily married, two kids and now working from home!
5 things on my to do list
1) Finish this blog (!)
2) take the kids to a birthday party
3) collect some stock from my suppliers
4) play indoor footy with my oldest boy - he's got a taste of Aussie Rules now!
5) make some cards with my boys - to stock up for a few b'days coming up.
Snacks I like to eat
1) Chocolate - of course! I worked for a large chocolate company in England and we could eat it every day!
2) Home baked bread - with lots of butter .... yum! I haven't baked bread in ages (hmmm, that is now on my to do list for the next few weeks).
3) Mangoes when they are in season. But generally any type of fruit.
If I was a billionaire
1) I would give to family and friends
2) I would still work as I really love what I do. My hubby on the other hand, might retire on the golf course!
3) Give more support to the National Breast Cancer Foundation - my Mum has battled this and my Aunt passed away from it.
4) I would ensure my parents could visit my sister in New York City and travel around the world as much as they like. They never got the chance to travel when we were growing up.
5) Do lots of travelling with my kids.
